What drives me from within?

I was inspired at a young age by the thoughts of Jamsetji Tata “…what advances a nation or a community is not so much to prop up its weakest and most helpless members, but to lift up the best and the most gifted, so as to make them of the greatest service to the country.” I have been so deeply influenced by this thinking that even today in my new avatar as a mentor and consultant; my focus is to ensure that those who want to make a difference are supported to go ahead and make that difference.
I have often said that even as a young person, I never noticed gender, religion, nationality or any physical attributes. All I think about is how a person can be encouraged to use their intelligence for the right reasons; for the larger good. It is about using my experience to help people understand themselves better and to contribute where they can flourish & maybe even push it up a notch or two! External benchmarks are a guiding light but crafting your own unique path & playing to your strengths to win; is my recommendation.
Thus, in my own way, I hope to create a multiplier effect.
